How to even describe that feeling of getting back on a plane after all this time.. It had been 7 months since our last adventure, which yes, was also to Byron! It may have been a long and quiet winter but all for a VERY good reason… Completing my visa application that will allow me to live here permanently! Yay! There was just something missing, which was travel… Travel I love for many reasons, one being the new release of energy and inspiration it gives you…something I was greatly in need of! As much as I love this city life, it seems only essential to escape from time to time. I can see just by looking through the photos the higher state of calm this trip gave us as it progressed. Lesson learnt – we must get away more often.
As expected, this trip was just as pleasantly relaxing as the last. Only this time, with less tourist doings and more enjoying the place for itself. Spending most of our day’s lazing at Belongil beach, going for that refreshing swim and quite literally eating our way through all the amazing food on offer (I’ve included below a few our absolute favourites to eat, shop and sleep). Everything we love to do! We left not only with a clear mind but a nice and clear vision too. Ah, this place, any wonders why it’s our favourite??
Byron Cove Beach House – We have stayed here on both visits and intend on staying here next time also) the location is perfect next to our favourite places and nestled in a nice quiet street only moments to Belongil Beach.
